In celebration of my coworkers who have birthdays in December, as well as the holiday season, I decided to make cupcakes! Chocolate cupcakes with caramel buttercream frosting. Generally, I am NOT a buttercream kind of girl… unless it comes on one of those awesome sheet cakes from Sam’s or BJ’s (that whipped buttercream is delicious!); but this was one of the easiest buttercream recipes that I have come across since I began baking. I took two dozen cupcakes to work and came back with two empty Tubberware containers! I guess that means everyone liked them. :-)
